Materials & Meaning

My artwork often begins with a found element —a fragment of bone, a swatch of fabric, a glimpse of light —chosen for its inherent narrative. These elements are then carefully recontextualized, inviting contemplation on mortality and transformation.

The work often mirrors the gothic themes found in my literary prose, creating a dialogue between the written word and the tactile object. It's an exploration of beauty within the quiet macabre.
